I don't have Netflix, but my friend in the Netherlands does, so after our walk on the Veluwe we watched the new YYH live action series. A while ago I saw an ad for Yu Yu Hakusho merch at Seria, a 100-yen shop which just happens to be the nearest one to me! It said it would come out "In December", so I went to look on one of the first days of December, and they didn't have any yet... But when I went to check again later, I found some! Wednesday was a holiday, so of course it was raining again... A few months ago I'd already bought a ticket for that day to the Togashi art exhibition in Roppongi though, so the only downside was that I had to haul myself all the way over to Tokyo to go see it. On Sunday I went to see the Yu Yu Hakusho stage play in the evening, after seeing my company's anime in the EJ Anime Cinema in Shinjuku in the afternoon. So I pretty much biked all over Tokyo, haha.  Despite having someone to cosplay with this year, I still went and talked to a whole bunch of other cosplayers to take their pictures! I rarely go to massive street events like Acosta, but when I do it's really interesting seeing which anime get the most cosplayers and how popular certain shows are at the moment.  ^o^

A while ago I saw that there would be a Yu Yu Hakusho pop-up store at the KInokuniya in Shibuya, so on Sunday morning we went to check it out. It was pretty small though, and they didn't have all that many items, and almost everything featured the same artwork.

Aaaaaah! I still can't believe that this actually happened, and that I was there to see it ;_; The Hunter x Hunter musical was the first anime musical that I ever saw (before Tenimyu even), but I was into Yu Yu Hakusho way before HxH, so who'd have ever thought they'd make a musical of it, 25 years after the manga ended... I won one ticket for the Yu Yu Hakusho stage play!!! I applied for five different tickets over 4 shows -  the only 4 that I could possibly go to because the show only runs for less than a week, only including one weekend, and the venue isn't anywhere near my office.
